this is a build of Madbean's "Thumper", which is essentially a boutique overdrive and distortion circuit thrown onto the same pcb, though independent of eachother. the switches toggle some diode pairs.
this pedal is the first one i built for someone who isn't me, and for some reason i got all sentimental and decided to include an instruction sheet. actually, i found this pedal a little tricky to set the levels on, and i wanted the fellow to be able to get the most use from it as he could, while learning a small bit about guitar signal because he was just picking up the instrument at that point.
